Apprentices and students will attend both occupational/academic skills labs and seminar courses to support their assigned practicums.
Enrolled apprentices will receive paid O-T-J-T. Both Apprentices and students will recieve clinical supervision from both STRIVE preceptors/facilitators and our practicum site preceptors; In addition students will be matched and assigned to both general and concentrated clinical rotations of interest.
Through our distance learning and local education agency partners, college credit and degrees may be awarded to our apprentices and students.
In an effort to promote and expand the diverse workforce needs in the fields of integrated healthcare and professional development; specifically management, behavioral and maternity health. Each semester, apprentices and students will have an opportunity to attend both field and career fairs.
To learn more about our dual enrollment pathways, please contact us on Wednesdays 10:00am -12pm and an enrollment advisor will offer additional guidance to becoming a STRIVE Academic.

All grievances will be addressed confidentially, unless maintaining confidentiality would impede the ability to investigate and/or address the concerns raised in the grievance. Information regarding a grievance will only be shared with the parties reasonably necessary to resolve the concerns raised in the grievance. No reprisals of any kind will be taken by any party, or by staff of the STRIVE Community Health Institute (STRIVE), or against any party involved.
Filing a Grievance Process

STRIVE will investigate any grievances filed. Within five (15) calendar days of receipt of the student’s written statement, the Director of Operations will:
The Director of Operations will provide a written decision within three (15) calendar days of concluding their investigation. A written copy of the decision will be provided via email to all parties involved.
